Red Circle DC Annual Holiday Party
December 4, 2015
“Many Sherlockians know that The Valley of Fear is the one Canonical tale closely based on a true story–the exploits of the Molly Maguires in the coalfields of Pennsylvania. What they might not know is that Conan Doyle gives a very skewed version of events. In “Fact and Fiction,” Julianne Burke will explain what really happened in The Valley of Fear and give the other side of the story, from the Irish miners’ perspective.”
